National Trust Heritage Festival 2018

Wednesday 2nd & 9th and Sunday 9th & 13th

Discover Samford and surrounding localities as they were in the 1950's & 60's through feature photo boards, written reminiscences and static displays. Take a self guided heritage stroll through Samford Village using the free information guide provided to visitors.

Chat with volunteers and leisurely browse the photos and reminiscences, wander through school, farming and railway (pre1955) static displays which rekindle memories of a past era.

​

Complete your visit with coffee in the former Methodist Church opposite Samford Museum and stroll through adjacent John Scott Park and the former Samford railway station or visit Samford Hotel named in 1954 the Golden Valley Hotel using the free guided tour.

Drop into the museum on Wednesday the 2nd or 9th or Sunday the 6th or 13th of May to start your tour.
